Nepal Mountaineering Association is a non-government organization that regulate 27 different peaks in Nepal. It is organization which aims to promote tourism and mountaineering in Nepal. Here are list of peaks with the cost of permits in different climbing seasons. The 27 peaks are further classified into two different categories namely NMA “A” and NMA “B”.

·         Garbage Deposit fee is 500$ US Dollars which is refundable on the conditions provisioned by NMA.

·         Maximum number of clients per team is 15.

There are few peaks that has been waived from fees to promote tourism in Nepal. The following are the peaks that are royalty free and are permitted by NMA.

·         Chhukung Ri (5,550m)

·         Machhermo (5,559m)

·         Mardi Himal (5,587m)

·         Pokhalde (5,780m)

·         Tharpu Chuli/Tent Peak (5,663m)

·         Yala Peak (5,732m)
