One of the most stunning beautiful mountain in Nepal. It is located in Khumbu region of Nepal and stands 6,812 meters high. It is one of the most technically and physically demanding peak among peaks in Nepal. It is famous for steep face climbing that turns out to be difficult even for experienced and trained climber. Good and experienced support climbers are required for success and safety in the peak.

Ama Dablam is one the most stunning beautiful peak in Nepal. The name “Ama Dablam” refers to Mother neckless in Sherpa Language. As name suggested it looks like jewels of the mountains. It is located in Khumbu region of Nepal and stands 6,812 meters high. 

Despite of lower height, Ama Dablam is one of the most difficult and technically challenging peak. Its soaring ridges and steep faces make Ama Dablam very difficult to climb. Its legendary steep face make, it attractive for climber who love challenges. This is physically and technically demanding peak. The climbers are expected to ability to climb steep and hard compact ice on the way. The team to climb must be well organized to gain success. Experienced and trained support climbers will be great help in the expedition. 

This peak can also be further customized by adding additional destinations like Everest Base Camp.

Itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu International Airport and Transfer to Hotel (1300m).

Arrival in Kathmandu and pick up and transfer to hotel by office representative. Hang around Thamel on availability of time. Acquire and prepare necessary gear for the trip.

Day 02

Trip briefing, paper works and gear checking.

+

Preparation day for the trip. Legal Paper work, check all the gears and acquire insufficient essentials. Half day tour if time is available. Short briefing in evening with welcome dinner. Included meals: Breakfast.

Day 03

Kathmandu to Lukla - Phakding (2652 m) 3 hours.

Early morning, we will take flight to Luka which takes approximately 40 minutes. After taking breakfast, we will head to Phakding. It’s an easy downhill walk of 3 hours. On busy season, we will meet many trekkers. The trail is busy with people, mules and zopkyos.

Day 04

Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m) 6 hours.

The trail runs alongside Dudh Koshi River crossing through pine and oak forest. We need to cross this river several times. We will be entering Sagarmatha National Parks on this day. We will get first glimpse of ‘Mount Everest’ on this day. The monuments alongside path reminds of its Buddhist influence.

Day 05

Namche Bazaar: Exploration Day.

Acclimatization is an important part of any trip to altitude. It helps body to adjust and rejuvenate to the environment. Namche Bazaar is interesting place to take rest. It is known as Sherpa Capital. Sherpa is an ethnic community of people who are well known for being good at mountaineering. You can see culture and lifestyle of local here. You can visit museum to understand Sherpa community. You can explore local market. Modern amenities like ATM, Internet Café, Shops, restaurants, bakery etc. are available to enjoy.

Day 06

Namche Bazar to Tengboche (3800m) 5-6 hours.

On the way to Tengboche, the view of Himalaya is breathtaking. Chorten and praying flag hanged alongside the path to Tengboche gives amazing view to the scenery. Tengboche has monastery that is well renowned around the region. This monastery is biggest and represents the history of Buddhism in the region.

Day 07

Tengboche to Ama Dablam Base Camp (4700m) 6-7 hours.

It is uphill walk to base camp. The Base Camp is set on plain are where there is clear view of Mt. AmaDablam. The camp would be already set up by the staff sent in advance.

Day 08-20

Climbing Period.

There are three camps before final summit in Ama Dablam expedition. Camp 1 is at height to 5700m, Camp 2 at 6200m, Camp 3 at 6856m and finally summit at 6,189m. We will acclimatize, re-adjust, and climb during the right weather time period.

Day 21

Base Camp to Tengboche (3,800 m).

After cleaning up base camp and packing things up for transportation, we will head down tracking back the same route as before.

Day 22

Tengboche to Monju (2,800 m).

We will trace back the same route to Monjo. Stay overnight in Monjo.

Day 23

Manju to Lukla (2,840 m).

We will trace back the same route to Lukla to take flight back to Kathmandu. Stay overnight in Lukla.

Day 24

Lukla to Kathmandu Valley.

On arrival to Kathmandu, Sherpa Khangri representative will transfer you back to the Hotel. It will be free day. In evening, dinner with cultural dance will be arranged to celebrate the trip.

Day 25

Transfer to International Airport for final departure.

Journey with us end here. Office representative will take you to International airport for final departure as per schedule requirement.
