Overview:
Sherpa Kangri Outdoor offers a 15-day adventure in Nepal, starting with the vibrant streets of Kathmandu and continuing to the base of the world’s highest peak. The trek is perfect for travelers of all ages, kids, adults, and seniors. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, Sherpa Kangri Outdoor provides a warm welcome and takes you on a private guided sightseeing tour. The next day, you’ll be taken on a scenic flight to Lukla, one of the world’s highest airports. The trail takes you to Phakding, Namche Bazaar, and Kumjung, where you can visit the Sherpa Museum for insight into mountaineering legends. The next day, you’ll visit Tengboche, Dingboche, Island Peak, and Mt. Ama Dablam. A rest day is spent hiking Nagarsang Peak before continuing to Lobuche. Finally, you’ll reach Everest Base Camp, where you’ll walk across the Khumbu Glacier. After seeing the mighty Khumbu Glacier and Mt. Everest, you’ll return to Gorakshep for dinner and overnight.

Detailed itinerary:
Day 01: Kathmandu arrival(1,324m/4344ft)
• Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu.
• Meet a Sherpa Kangri Outdoor representative for pickup.
• Transfer to your hotel and check-in.
• Rest and explore Thamel, the popular tourist hub.
• Overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 02: Trek preparation and guided sightseeing in Kathmandu(1,324m/4344ft)
• Have breakfast at your hotel.
• Pick up by our tour guide
• Guided sightseeing around Kathmandu
• Afternoon meet your trekking guide
• Go over trek details, route, and safety rules
• Check gear and arrange any rentals or purchases if needed.
• Get your permits and finalize logistics.
• Rest and get ready for the trek ahead.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla (±35 min) & trek to Phakding (2,610m/8,563ft)
• Early morning flight to Lukla (around 35 minutes).
• Begin your trek following the Dudh Koshi River.
• Cross suspension bridges and pass small villages.
• Arrive at Phakding after 3–4 hours of light trekking.
• Dinner and overnight at a local lodge.
Trekking: 3 – 4 hours, approximately 9 km.
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,286ft)
• Walk through forests of rhododendron and pine.
• Stop at Monjo for permit checks.
• Cross several high suspension bridges.
• Stop at the Hillary Bridge
• Check out the new bungee jump (±115$)
• Continue on the jungle trail until the tree-line disappears.
• Now the terrain changes into a more tundra like landscape.
• Continue along the ridge.
• Reach Namche Bazaar, the biggest Sherpa town.
• Dinner and overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Trekking: 5 hours, approximately 8-9 km.
Day 05: 1st Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar(3,440m/11,286ft)
• Explore Namche and the local markets.
• Visit the Hillary Museum, Sherpa Museum or nearby viewpoints.
• Hike to Everest View Hotel for views of Everest and Ama Dablam.
• Optional hike to Khumjung village. (Visit the Monastery and the Hillary School).
• Return to Namche for dinner and rest.

Day 06: Trek to Tengboche’s Buddhist Monastery (3,867m/12,687ft)
• Follow scenic trails with mountain views.
• Enter Buddhist territory.
• Enjoy an increase in fauna as you trek through the forests.
• Reach Tengboche, known for its monastery.
• Visit Tengboche Monastery and enjoy sunset views with Mt Thamserku in the back.
• Overnight at a lodge in Tengboche.
Trekking: 5-6 hours, approximately 9 km.
Day 07: Trek to Dingboche (4,450m/14,5910ft)
• Walk through rhododendron forests and river valleys.
• Cross the Imja River and pass through Pangboche.
• Continue on for a few hours until heading uphill and down again.
• Reach Dingboche, surrounded by peaks in the middle of the Himalayas.
• Dinner and overnight in a teahouse.
Trekking: 5-6 hours, approximately 9 km.
Day 08: 2nd Acclimatization day at Dingboche(4,410m/14,470ft)
• Today is all about acclimatizing.
• Ideally we want to hike to higher elevations and spend the night back at a lower.
• Optionally we can a hike to Nagarsang Peak or explore the Chhukung Valley.
• See incredible views of Island Peak and Ama Dablam.
• Return to Dingboche for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 09: Trek to Lobuche (4,450m/14,5910ft)
• Begin a steady climb toward the Khumbu Glacier.
• Walk past memorials for fallen climbers.
• The trail becomes trickier so we stay close to our expert Sherpa guides.
• Arrive at Lobuche with views of nearby peaks.
• Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Trekking: 4-5 hours, approximately 8 km.
Day 10: Trek to Gorakshep (5,170m/16,962ft) & visit Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,598ft)
• Trek to Gorakshep.
• Camp, passing rocky terrain.
• Enjoy the incredible sights of Khumbu Icefall.
• The trail takes us there in a few hours along the moraines.
• Arrive and check in.
• Take a short break for lunch.
• Continue to Everest Base
• Return to Gorakshep for dinner and overnight.
Trekking: 3-4 hours, approximately 4-5 km.
Day 11: Sunrise hike up Kala Patthar (5,545m/18,192ft) & trek down to Pheriche (4,250m/13,944ft)
• Start early for sunrise views from Kala Patthar.
• Get the best panoramic view of Mt. Everest.
• Return to Gorakshep for breakfast.
• Follow the trail back to Lobuche and head for Pheriche.
• Continue on the trail with Everest now at our backside.
• Trek down to Pheriche for the night.
Trekking: 4-5 hours, approximately 9 km.
Day 12: Trek back to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,286ft)
• Retrace the trail past Pangboche and Tengboche.
• Enjoy a relaxed pace as you descend through forests.
• Arrive back at Namche Bazaar and rest.
Trekking: 7 hours, approximately 9 km.
Day 13: Trek back to Lukla (2,850m/9,350ft)
• Trek back through Monjo and Phakding.
• Climb the final stretch to Lukla.
• Celebrate your successful trek with local food or drinks.
• Overnight in Lukla.
Trekking: 7-8 hours, approximately 13 km.
Day 14: Fly back to Kathmandu
• Take a morning flight back to Kathmandu.
• Transfer to your hotel and check in.
• Free time for shopping or sightseeing.
• Enjoy a farewell dinner in the evening.
• Overnight stay at your hotel in Kathmandu.

• Have breakfast and check out of your hotel.
• Sherpa Kangri Outdoor will transfer you to the airport 3 hours before your flight.
