Mission of 14 peaks successfully accomplished within 3 months and 1 day

Kristin Harila – a Norwegian climber and her leader Sherpa Nepali guide Tenjen Sherpa together has successfully made a New World Record of scaling all 14s 8000 meters peak . It took them 3 months and 1 day with last 14th summit Mount K2 scaled on morning 10:45 am local time of July 27 2023. They broke the previous record by Nirmal Purja (Nimsdai) of six months and six days .

Both had scaled  13th peak Mt. Board peak 8051 m morning 23 July 4:30 am . Just a 5 days earlier 18 July both scaled Mt. Gasherbrum I 8080m at local time 510am. This complted Kristin’s mission of 14 peaks to 11th of Mt.Gasherbrum II 8035 m on 15 July 745am local time. Earlier Tenjin and Kristin scaled Mt. Nanga Parbat 8125m 26 June 2023 morning 7am. Also both scaled Mt. Manaslu 8163m  morning of 10 June 330am.  Earlier both summitted Mt. Annapurna I , 8091m, the tenth highest peak June 5th at 6am . Previously , Mt Dhaulagiri- seventh highest peak 8167m the morning of 29 th May 615am , the highest peak Mt Everest and 4th highest Mt Lhotse within eight hours morning of 23rd May  3:15 and 11:15 am respectively completing her sixth mountain in a bid to scale all 14 peaks above 8,000m in less than six months in 2023 calendar year . Both climbed the 3rd highest mountain Mt Kanchenjunga on 18 May 2023.  

Kristin also  became the first 8000ers woman climber  fastesten ascent of 14 peaks above 8,000m in just one year and five days. Then by April 2023 she re-start her mission project by first climbing Mt Shishapangma on April 26 with Tenjin and team . Then, continued to summit Mt Cho Oyu . Later their 3rd success came on May 15, Mt Makalu.  She was  accompainned by the expedition team of  Seven Summit Treks.
